Lahan Eks SDN 05 Menteng Dalam Segera Dibangun RPTRA

South Jakarta to Build RPTRA in Menteng Dalam

Eight families of retired civil servants (PNS) who are occupying the ex-land of SDN Menteng Dalam 05 and 06 on Jalan Rasamala III, RT 03/13, Menteng Dalam Urban Village, Tebet, South Jakarta, asked to immediately vacate their homes.

Besides water absorption, the park can also be used for citizens’ socialization place

This is because South Jakarta Administration is going to use the land as wide as 1,800 square meters as a Child-Friendly Public Space (RPTRA). Its construction will be managed by PT Agung Podomoro as part of corporate social responsibility (CSR).

"Besides water absorption, the park can also be used for citizens’ socialization place," stated Kelik Miarto, Head of South Jakarta Women's Empowerment and Family's Planning Office, after he gave a dialogue with locals, Thursday (7/30).

Miarto once again appealed those retired teachers and civil servants to leave the land as soon as possible. But they will not receive compensation.

"Although they won't get any compensation, we will give them chance to move to Komarudin Flat," he explained.

He mentions, the flat is actually not dedicated to those civil servants, but for citizens who live on riverbank and reservoir.

"Our offer is only valid until Monday (8/3)," he asserted.
